Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
This website is a portfolio for visual artist Ilias Toliadis. It is intentionally simple: there are no user accounts, contact forms, newsletters, analytics tools, advertising trackers or profiling technologies.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller for this website is Ilias Toliadis.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email iliastoliadis@gmail.com.
2. What information may be processed?
Technical and security data
Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may create server logs containing information such as an IP address, browser and device type, requested page, date and time, referrer, and technical error details.
Information you send by email
If you choose to contact Ilias Toliadis by email, the name, email address and any information included in your message will be processed in order to reply.
Privacy preference
After you make a privacy choice, the site stores one essential item in your browser’s local storage so that the notice does not appear on every visit. Details are provided in the Cookie Policy.
3. Why is this information processed?
- To deliver, maintain and secure the website.
- To detect abuse, malware and technical failures.
- To respond to enquiries and discuss possible projects or services.
- To comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
The legal bases are legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website, taking steps at your request before entering into a possible agreement, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.
4. Cookies, analytics and profiling
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, behavioural profiling or automated decision-making. Optional tracking technologies are not loaded.
The website itself does not set HTTP cookies. It uses only the essential local-storage preference described in the Cookie Policy.
5. Who may receive information?
Technical data may be processed by hosting, infrastructure and security providers only as needed to operate and protect the website. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or a competent authority.
Personal data is not sold. This website does not share visitor data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. External links
The website links to Instagram, Facebook and email services but does not embed social-media feeds. When you follow an external link, you leave this website and the third party’s own privacy and cookie terms apply.
7. Retention and security
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, correspondence and legal requirements. Server-log retention may depend on the hosting and security configuration. Email correspondence is periodically reviewed and deleted when it is no longer needed.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the website and information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your GDPR rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To make a request, email iliastoliadis@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data-protection authority, including the Hellenic Data Protection Authority ↗.
9. Changes to this policy
This notice may be updated when the website, its services or legal requirements change. The latest version and revision date will always appear on this page.
